Dr. Todd Wedel

Dr. Todd Wedel is an optometrist with a passion for treating and managing a wide range of ocular diseases, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and corneal disorders. Originally from the state of Texas, he received his training a t the prestigious Illinois College of Optometry, where he provided excellent eye care to the underserved community on the south side of Chicago. Dr. Wedel has particular experience in multiple modes of myopia control for children, including multifocal lens es and rigid gas permeable lenses as well as atropine therapy. He is also adept in fitting specialty contact lenses including hybrid and scleral lenses for patients with irregular corneas. Dr. Wedel’s approach places an emphasis on the quality of care his patients receive, and he excels in respectfully managing all patient needs.
